Hello Berwick Community,
We’re pleased to share an update on the progress of our superintendent search. The Board has just completed a second round of interviews with a select group of highly qualified candidates. These conversations have been thoughtful, in-depth, and focused on identifying the right leader to guide the future of the Berwick Area School District. In the second round of interviews, three of our district administrators participated by asking questions and providing their insights, which will also be an important contribution to the Board's continued discussions.
At this stage, we’ve asked our search consultant, Mr. Templeton, to continue conducting thorough reference and background checks on the candidates. His findings will help inform our next steps as we move closer to a final decision. We’ve also asked Mr. Templeton to continue to carefully review all stakeholder feedback and survey responses. Your voices—those of our staff, families, and community members—remain essential to this process. We are committed to ensuring your perspectives help shape this important decision. As a Board, we are united in our commitment to finding a leader who not only brings experience and vision to the role, but who will partner with us in shaping a strong, inspiring future for our district—guided by clear goals and shared values.
